About us
Creative community
Galleries in the Gardens, Inc., locally known as ‘GIG’ is a non-profit community collective of artists from Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest and the Myall River region. We are a group of local artists having creativity in common, sharing artistic pursuits and practice together.
In 2009 the Galleries in the Gardens group got together on Saturday mornings and began exhibiting their work in the courtyard at the Tea Gardens Hotel. We have grown in creativity, friendship, strength and numbers since then and now exhibit our vast selection of works in The Gallery - a delightful, rejuvenated landmark cottage set within a lush garden, opposite the waterfront at 81 Marine Drive, Tea Gardens NSW.
